The receptionist was super friendly and welcoming. She offered and later booked us a taxi to where we were headed. She also guided us on how to use the metro / train as we were not 100% sure. I'm sorry I didn't get her name, she also thanks us for our stay when we left.

It's next to the Motorway and for us that was great, because we traveled with a car. We used the hotel's underground garage. The hotel.is great. The room was very nice and thw hotel have their own bar on the ground floor where you can find cervezas , drinks, coffee for 24h. The train station is 4minutes away from the hotel and the Madrid center is 15 minutes away. You just need to sit in the train (Refan train ,line C3) and go to one of the main stations (Atocha, N. Ministerios, Sol) and to approach to one of the Refan billetario and to ask for the card. After you can buy the tickets by you're own on the machines. This was perfect accomodations for us because we came by car to visit Madrid.

Casa du solei is like an oasis in the centre of Madrid city. We loved the relaxed atmosphere and spacious shared facilities. The plunge pool was therapy for my painful ankles. The staff are outstanding, friendly and helpful. This place was beyond our expectation.

1. Staff. The girl on reception was super friendly and helpful. 2. Cleanliness. I’m very strict about the cleanliness of the hotels, but Calamo Guesthouse is exceptionally clean. 3. Warmness. The heating was working great, and despite the cold weather in November, we were very comfortable in our room. 4. Location. The hotel is in the heart of Madrid and near the metro stations. Also, the Prato museum is in 10 minutes by foot! 5. Breakfast. Hotel will give you vouchers for the three caries located in 60 metres near the hotel. I recommend go to Casa d Diego, they have the tastiest breakfast and nice service. And I don’t recommend Brown Bear, because it is too crowded. I will definitely return to this hotel!

The location is superb and allowed me to wander around the area easily to visit the Prado and Palace, as well as try the chocolate con churros in San Gines. The staff were very welcoming and I was able to access my room early, and leave my luggage with them the day I left.
