The location was really good considering that we rented a car and wanted to be off the main city. We could easily drive around to the waterfalls and Ranua zoo. The room was spacious and comfortable and we also enjoyed the sauna! The host is friendly and gave us good tips on what to visit in the area. It was also a great spot to catch the Northern Lights without having to travel anywhere else, but that was also a good dose of luck :)

Guesthouse Borealis is located outside the center, but all the city's attractions are within walking distance. Rovaniemi is a safe city. Several times I returned to the guesthouse alone at night (after waiting for the northern lights) and did not feel unsafe, even though the streets were virtually empty. During my stay, I had a serious problem and a young long-haired girl from the reception who often came with a large dog (maybe the daughter of the owners of the guesthouse?) helped me in an extraordinary way. When staying in this guesthouse, you can be sure that if you have a serious problem, they will not leave you alone, they will help you.

Sauna was a plus. We would've loved to have a small TV other than that it was a great stay and great hosts.

Incredible stay. The house is very clean, equipped, and family-friendly. The hosts are very responsive and kind. The location is also perfect when you are visiting Rovaniemi. Perfect Guest house !! The cabain was lovely with delicius welcome chocolates, have everything súper clean and with water and to make coffee. The host was really Kind he drove us to Santa village. 100% recommend
