People very welcoming and acommodating. Location just perfect! Just in the door of the sanctuary. Nice river view from my balcony. The room is very simple but confortable. Property certainly needs some reparations/refreshments but the room in general was very good for the price. Nice cookies and some coffee can be prépared in the room. Everything was very clean. Shower very good. They also have a common kitchen downstairs where you can bring and have your own breakfast.

Great host, property is in a brilliant location for a cycling trip. The property has rustic charm and was well equipped. Great shower, fast wifi and a well equipped kitchen. The mattresses were very comfortable and there was plenty of bedding options for different temperatures.

We had an amazing stay in Chateaux d'Orleix. I was travelling with my 93 year old mom and they went out of their way to help and make us comfortable. They even changed her room to a downstairs one to avoid the stairs for her. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast amazing and very fresh, the croissants are yummy. The facilities, both in the room and outside are great. Nice pool with enough chairs and parasols, barbecue area, games like darts and jeu de boules. Everything very clean and well-maintained. Location is a bit remote in a small village, so car is recommended to visit all the beauty in the surroundings like The Pyrenees, Lourdes, Tarbes and so on. We were very lucky to see all the 14 Juillet celebrations and to visit the concert of Andrea Bocelli in Lourdes. We had an amazing time and cherish the memories. Thank you all staff at Chateau d'Orleix for making our stay unforgettable.
