A great central location. Our hostess made us a great Svan breakfast and we had a great chat. During this stay, I had multiple problems which were my own fault, and she went out of her way to help us out. This includes, arriving late in the evening and having no cell service to let her know ahead of time, running out of cash and not knowing how to pay for our stay, and having to leave with our rental car very early in the morning despite there being extremely muddy road construction blocking our exit—this one was serious because she actually got her husband who was a part of the project, as well as the other villagers, to lay down for us a temporary wooden driveway across the mud and help us guide our car up the narrow streets all the way to the end in order to get out. They could have just said sorry, you have to wait until later in the morning or afternoon, but they all went above and beyond to accommodate us. Pretty tremendous.

Had an amazing stay here! clean, comfortable, and super homey space. The host and family are just lovely. The home cooked food was some of the best we had in Georgia. A few other couples were staying in other rooms and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner together. Definitely recommend for your stay in Ushguli

Without doubt it was the best food we have encountered during our hike from Mestia to Usghuli. The hosts are really friendly and helpful - although we didn't speak Russian, communication wasn't a problem (in case of need, hostess daughter can speak English). Georgian hospitality at its best! Can only recommend.

My sister and I arrived after hiking in the rain all day. We immediately took hot showers and then relaxed in our room with a really nice electric heater that felt great. This was our last night after hiking from mestia to ushguli and the food was the best meal yet. Our host made many different dishes and it was truly amazing. When we asked for a beer, she went outside in the rain and grabbed two for us. In the morning I wanted something extra for breakfast and she gladly got it for me. A truly great host that I would recommend.
