It was very safe, peaceful and pretty. The host, Claudia is really nice. She waited us until almost midnight to help us get in. She helped us no matter what! Room was clean and comfortable!

Staying at La Canonica was absolutely delightful. What a gem! From the interiors to the location, and the staff. Our bedroom was beautifully furnished and we loved waking up in a bed of roses :) If you are looking for a one in a million accommodation this is the place for you. The property is a convent in a modern building set on the hillside. The room was basic but more than adequate.The Sisters will collect you by car from Sutri if you wish. The food is a set menu, simple and nourishing - the highlight was ice cream home made by the nuns!

The most amazing host we've had in all of Italy. She recommended a great restaurant for dinner, helped us do laundry, made us an amazing breakfast, let us borrow a kettle. The room was perfect and we would happily stay again.
