Guest Houses in Wadi Musa

The staff was very excellent and kind, they gave us free things upon arrival such as fruits and tea, and asked me if I was hungry because I arrived very late from the airport, and they gave me what I needed and they were very kind.The place is excellent, very clean and close to everything I expected to get. The breakfast was also delicious. The host delivered me to my destination for free because it was cold and raining heavily. They were exceptional, and the price was very simple.

The host is very nice person. He told us about hidden gems in Petra, just ask him about them. Very kind and generous man. The breakfast cooked by his mother is very delicious

We stayed at Jordan Guest House, which is in the heights of Petra City, after a trip in the Wadi Rum. How to say? Everything has been perfect from our arrival to our departure. We came as a family of 9 French people ranging from 6 to 67 and everybody had a wonderful time. First, we have been welcomed by a Jeep/Buggy ride to a fantastic viewpoint over Petra Valley to watch the sunset (for free), accompanied by Marko, a smiley Slovenian gentleman helping out at the guesthouse. In the meantime, Shadi had an open fire prepared and all the guests from the house gathered around it to get to know each other. (Not like in most hotels where you never meet your neighbors). Then we had a very good homemade traditional dinner (14JD/adult, 9 JD/teen, free under 12 years old) on a warm covered terrace with a nice view of Petra City. After dinner, the teenagers were given the opportunity to play pool/billiard and table tennis indoor (for free) until very late while we were resting in a very nice apartment (we had 3 rooms around a living room with couches, TV, and coffee counter). After a good night of sleep (very decent beds), the homemade breakfast has been served at the agreed time and Shadi/Marko gave us the best advice you can get on Petra's visit. In a word: going to Shadi's guest house is not made for people who like to stay in their room to watch Netflix, it is made for those who enjoy going to their best friend's house to have a good time together. Important point in Jordan: pricing was totally transparent and absolute value for money considering the quality of the service. It's not my first time in Petra, I can tell. Additionally, Shadi is a globe traveler, he knows exactly what to do to make tourists feel like home and this is priceless. Being a Jordan resident, I will definitely come back and send people over!

Great location 3 km from Petra Visitors Center and even closer to the Petra back entrance, if one should choose that route (which is highly recommended). The couple owning the guest house, Faesal and Mona, showed great hospitality. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished, and in front of the house is a cozy tent, where Faesel and Mona served delicious breakfast and coffee.

The host's politeness and friendliness added to the welcoming ambiance, ensuring a comfortable and memorable stay. What made our visit even more special was the genuine invitation from a neighbour—an old man living next to the hotel—who warmly welcomed us into his home for coffee. Such authentic hospitality made our stay at an unforgettable and heart-warming experience.

Great location and really comfortable stay. Everything you need and more. Also recommend signing up to the home-cooked dinner and (huge) packed lunch for a day in Petra. Good WiFi and easy parking on the street outside. Saddam was a great host, would definitely stay again :)

The house has a special charm, is very well decorated and has an excellent local breakfast and dinner. The owner is very welcoming and attentive.
