Toutou was the best hotel we stayed in for our Japan trip. We enjoyed the clean and beautiful hotel room so much and didn't want to leave. Too bad it was only a one night stay.

Room. Amazing, tatami floors, sliding doors, AC, well kept and clean. The only thing that is important to mention is that the restroom is in a separate part of the building, not too much trouble since it is your private restroom so you won't be sharing it but it is something to keep in mind. Service. Outstanding, the staff is supper helpful and even gives you recommendations for restaurants and things to do. They gave us snacks every day of our stay and refiled our drinks. One of the staff members even patiently helped me through my bad japanese (ありがたい) Location. 10/10 just 2 blocks from an amazingly beautiful river

Really relaxed and comfortable atmosphere, the hostel is a nice quiet place to stay whilst visiting okayama. The train line is very close, and we felt very looked after, it was a shame we weren't here for longer. Had okonomiyaki from a local shop on their recommendation which was also very welcoming, and delicious!
