Best value in Matsuyama. This bunk house is right next to Dogo Onsen. It's a perfect, cheap stop along the pilgrimage route. I spent 3 days here while my legs recovered. It's less than 3 minutes to a bus and train area to take you all over the area.

Fantastic location. Walking diatance from dougo onsen area which means close to great food. Very quiet location means it is great for families. Miyoshi san had great recommendations for onsen and dinner. Matsuyama is a really great city to hang in and soak up some real japanese culture!

The breakfast, as others have said, is very exceptional (seafood based so not vegetarian). I guess the host was a chef or something of the sort for 30 years. The facilities were clean, and there were no problems. It was a convenient location for us because there were fireworks nearby on the night of our stay.
