Loved everything about this hostel, from the location (close to the open air museum) in the mountains, down to the very small details of the interior. Lounge area was beautifully planned with a great view and places to hang out with new friends. The Onsen bath was clean and beautiful too. Had it for myself in the morning. The dorm bed was super big and felt private.

Beatiful garden with nice and comfortable terrace. Very nice view from the "family room" - also garden-like. Free massage chair in the hotel common area. Hotel offers free shuttle to Gora station. All staff members were very kind and we felt like at home.

In the Shuzenji Onsen district of Izu, close to Shuzen-ji Temple, Hostel Knot has a shared lounge and a washing machine.

The communal feel. Our hosts were very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with them. There is an awesome coffee and toasted sandwich van out the front, go there for coffee and a snack if you can

Highly recommend! I'm glad that I found this place. The owner makes a good family vibe in this little hostel. This is your place if you want to find somewhere affordable and social but not too loud.

Fantastic stay in a small hotel. The view onto the bay was absolutely stunning. We loved the Tempur futon, one of the best we slept on during all our travels to Japan. The room was very specious and clean. Bathroom was a standard Japanese bathroom, with all the necessary amenities. We came by car and really appreciated the parking space in front of the building.
