Nadeeka and Ranjith are so kind hearted people. They always had time for a little chat. I could even use their kitchen to prepare some food. I slept in the dorm which was very comfortable. The whole house is new and has a very stylish interior and provide all the facilities you need for your stay. I stayed here a whole week and it felt like a home for me - especially because of these two beautiful human beings🙏🏽❤️

Paba is a cool guy. He was very kind to us, allowing us to borrow and umbrella in the rain and letting us be late with the checkout due to a slow breakfast in town. Great space near both beaches and some nice restaurants. Would love to be back sometime.

The service is great, everyone is super friendly and it was so easy with our baby as well. The bungalow was spacious for a family of 3, and the pool is perfect. The whole setup is super nicer, colorful and bright with space to hang out in the day.

I originally booked for one night and ended up staying for seven! That’s how lovely my time at Mango Hiriketiya was. The room is spacious, the bed is comfy, and the ceiling fan is just right (I even felt cold some nights, which was perfect if you like sleeping with a sheet). The best part of the house is the family, super warm, welcoming, and incredibly kind. They greet you with a juice on arrival, serve a simple and delicious breakfast every morning, and sometimes offer a snack or tea in the afternoon. I was lucky to be there during Poya Day and they even invited me to join them for the local parade. The communication with them is also top! The room is upstairs with a private entrance, and there’s a kitchen available for basic cooking and a dining table. They helped me with my laundry as well. It’s located close to the main road and a short walk to the beach. I enjoy walking, so for me, the location was perfect.

Host family were so lovely. They have also just opened a restaurant which we had dinner at twice it was so good. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Air conditioning worked really well. Easy walk to the shops and beach.

10/10 I would totally recommend this place. its a new place that opened not that long ago!:)10 min walk to the beach and very kind owners. The room was very modern, especially the bathroom was very nice! Included was a hairdryer and also a umbrella which I think is very cute!

We had the pleasure of staying at Iresh’s brand-new Mount Side, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The room is beautifully designed, with a stylish, modern feel and high ceilings that make it feel spacious and airy. Everything was thoughtfully put together, creating a perfect, cozy retreat. Every morning, we were treated to an absolutely delicious breakfast. We had things like a refreshing papaya smoothie, traditional string hoppers with dhal and curry, and also roti and hoppers. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and gave us a real taste of local Sri Lankan cuisine – it was such a lovely start to the day! The location is an absolute gem. It’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, tucked away from the hustle, which made it the perfect place to unwind and relax. Even though it’s so tranquil, you’re only a 5-minute walk from the beach, where you can surf or simply enjoy the beautiful coastline. Iresh and his family are the real highlight – they are so warm, friendly, and incredibly welcoming. They made us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived, always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, we can highly recommend Mount Side! It’s a peaceful, beautiful spot with an amazing host and family.

The place was really nice and super well located. In less than five minutes you are at the beach. The owner of the place was the most sweet man, he was constantly asking if everything was good, changing our towels and giving us some fruit. Everything was clean ans they offer to clean per day too, but it wasn’t necessary. Amazing stay, 100% recommended !!

Everything was so perfect. Very nice family and the owner speaks very well English. Good place (5 min walk from blue island beach), room with fan is very clean with a beautiful view!! The bed is so comfortable with a mosquito net. The bathroom is super clean and you have warm water. We tried both breakfast and it was really tasty ! The massage is amazing (I did full body and my fiancé did back and neck). Special point for the German Sheperd dog which is very cute. It’s our best homestay so far (25 days in Sri Lanka)
