It was our very first night in Sri Lanka. As we arrived late, we just slipped into our beautiful and comfortable bed in the bedroom surrounded by antic furniture. Tomorrow morning we were just amazed by the garden's mango, jackfruit, coconut, beatiful flowers, peacocks in the tree. The host led us through their garden before the large and delicious home-made breakfast.

The room was very clean and comfortable so we felt it like home from the first time. Hosts were very friendly and kind and they did their best for us, especially their daughter who speaks very good English and she helped us even with the informations we needed about our transportation. We have to mention also that they made for us a special breakfast from Sri Lanka that we wanted to try. We highly recommend this hotel for vacations!

The architecture of the house and property was amazing, beautiful clean rooms. The outdoor bathroom and especially the shower were fabulous. Beds were comfortable and breakfast tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location. The room was not large but adequate for us. The breakfast was wonderful. Fresh fruit omelet, toast, yogurt, and juice. Pool was an added bonus before breakfast and on return from day out. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. With only 4 rooms it is not crowded. 100% would stay again

The stay at Villa Arushina was exceptional. The lady took care of every request, the beautiful villa is impeccably decorated, a clean and air-conditioned room with toilet and shower. The internet was also excellent. Happily, I arrived at a great time - on New Year's Eve! I got to experience the holiday in a pure authentic way and learn about Buddhist customs and tradition. Eat local food through breakfast and holiday dinner. For me it was an amazing experience. I got to know a lovely family. I have no doubt that on my next visit to Sri Lanka I will return there. Wonderfully relaxed and friendly hotel. Great staff, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Really helpful to organise and take me to and collect from near by places of interest. The pool is a a welcome respite from the heat.

What a great place this is. Big bed and super comfy, Decent sized patio area outside with a garden area and table and chairs. There are also hammocks in the garden for you to relax on. The owners are really nice and helped us with anything we needed. The hotel is situated seconds away from all bars and restaurants and 3 mins walk from Unawatuna beach. Would definitely return here if we are in Unawatuna again.
