Everything was great and we enjoyed staying in this hotel. We lived in a big comfortable room on the 3rd floor with air conditioner , fridge and a big balcony with amazing view! The owner Buddika was very friendly and helpful. He managed to arrange a great safari for us in Yala national park for next day at a good price even though we arrived late. And safari exceeded our expectations, during exciting trip we watched elephants, crocodiles, varan, peacocks, buffalos, dears and even a leopard very close that is a great luck and also made wonderful pictures. In addition I would like to mention excellent service and hospitality. Buddika picked our luggage up, arranged a dinner for us in the restaurant, presented welcome drinks and always helped to solve all questions.

Location in jungle few km outside Kataragama, Beautiful Romantic Naturel Clay House quiet place - very clean big room, nice fancy bathroom separate also clean and nice design. They've made everything for nature products wich is wonderfull. The Lady Host gives very good service hospitality she is kind friendly helpfull. Lasanthe (husband) has tuktuk and drive you in very friendly way. I like to come again and reccommend high on the list. From Lady I got some tea and fruits

Location was good if you want to be a little outside of the town, quiet with animals and farmers around. The room was nice for the price. Bring your own blanket if you come here though, it was none. Staff and food was great.

We loved the tour to Cinnamon plantation. It was very nice to be able to smell the leaves of cinnamon, lemon trees, taste peppercorns, mandarins, soursop, beli and other fruits straight from the tree. It was a very beautiful and interesting tour. The Mailagama Cinnamon residence is very peaceful and very beautiful, with lots of beautiful plants, flowers and tranquil picturesque views with rice fields, coconut, bananas and other trees, and the sounds of nature are amazing. Good quality room. The food was delicious. High service. The host was a very professional and interesting person. He helped us with safari tours, packed breakfast boxes, arranged taxis and answered all our questions. And of course the cinnamon tea was delicious. We loved this place. Thank You for everything. Highly recommend this unique place.

We had a very nice stay at the Lake Front Yala Safari. The rooms are clean, without moskitos, and it’s quite. The family was very welcoming. The provided food was amazing, and they created a very authentic Sri Lankan experience (e.g. telling you stories, letting you harvest your own coconut, learn/ support in the kitchen). We also booked our safari with them (have seen many animals, e.g. leopards, elephants…), which we can highly recommend.
