The property is renovated beautifully, keeping the old time charm. The view of the east side of Penang was amazing especially at night. We were lucky to be there while Kek Lok Si temple was lit up for CNY. Raj, the owner, was so welcoming and it was genuine. He should be proud of what he has achieved with restoring the place and the additions to improve the comforts for guests. All the staff we very pleasant and helpful. We were lucky enough to see a big black squirrel from our balcony as well as a family of dusky leaf monkeys on our walk nearby.

A very aptly named accomodation! Extremely comfortable stay in a lovely part of town with very friendly staff! Nice room with good shower. Great base for Kek Lok Si and Penang Hill.

We are in luck because the property is new! We chose to stay here because we wanted to experience how is it feels like staying in a local heritage houses in Penang. We love how the owner transformed the prewar shophouses into modern living heritage guesthouse while preserve the authenticity vibes of the property. Lovely renovated property in an excellent location - near the main tourist areas but in an area retaining a lot of local character. The self check-in and doors that use a PIN code instead of a card were really handy.

This guest house is a perfect place to stay when in Georgetown. The location is great, only a short walk from the busy area, bus stops and other landmarks in the town. There are lots of lovely cafes and restaurants in close proximity. Shane and his wife are brilliant hosts. They were so welcoming and shared some great recommendations of things to do and places to eat. This house has great facilities, a big common kitchen area where there was fresh bread in the morning for the guests was a peak. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Check in was super easy. I definitely recommend this property if you are visiting Penang!

Location is amazing, you can do everything by walk. The staff is very friendly, super helpful and very reactive. You can communicate by whatsapp, they even send you some planning proposal to visit city. You have a lovely welcome card on arrival. Kitchen area is well eqquiped and you also have a washing machine. Room was very spacious, we booked with private bathroom. Bed are very confortable and most important: everything was super clean!!!

I had a wonderful stay in this hotel ! The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Location was perfect close to shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!
