Nice little traditional house turned hotel, super friendly and welcoming staff! Got coffee and dates as we walked in, we were shown to our rooms and as we were heading for dinner we met the owner who explained everything down to the family history to us! Really nice place, would definitely recommend staying here! And we got a little leaving gift as well!

Everything was perfect! Beautiful and very tastefully decorated guesthouse in a traditional old house. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and dinners and tea on the roof terrace with amazing views. Very nice, friendly and hospitable owner. Very relaxing stay :-)

Mahmoud was extremely helpful and showed us around the neighborhood of old houses. We checked in quite late but he still made sure to message and check if we needed anything.

If you are looking for an experience, not just a place to sleep, this guesthouse is a must. It's a traditional mud house with an authentic design, frankincense aroma, and an ultra-hospitable host who told us all about the area and great places to visit. There is a nice rooftop where you can chill and drink tea. The village where it's located is also charming. Despite this house being old, it is very comfortable to stay in, all the amenities are there. The bed was comfortable, the water hot, the room was exceptionally clean

Love, love, love! From the second I walked in it felt like meeting old friends. The staff is exceptional. The room was spacious and had a gobsmackingly awesome view (even though I had the ground floor room) . Dinner and breakfast was delicious with lots of variations. The little village is a quick 5 minute walk away and has great corners to explore (don't miss out on the scenic 30 min hike to the spring) This is the perfect place to relax and wind down! ♥️

The location and atmosphere were great. Traditional old house and Lots and lots of tress, palm dates in and around the property. There is a mango tree within the property - enjoyed juicy mangoes for free. Excellent place to get out of busy city life and be surrounded by mountains and greenery. The falaj (water canal) system was amazing - clear and tasty natural water straight from the mountains. Will definitely come back here.

We got a spacious, clean room with all amenities. The host was warm, welcoming and helped us with access to the kitchen. We got enough blankets, hot water in the taps to keep us warm. It was great to stay at the top of Jebel Shams in the comfort of a home.
