Food! The food is what is the best here. Tania makes it perfectly. Before arriving we were contacted and Tania coordinated with us what we want for dinner. It was very delicious. Breakfast also super. Hotel is located by the lake and has nice view out of the window.

Nice accomodation in a countryside with a superb host who is really willing to help their guests. Language is a bit of a barrier but I was lucky with help of other guests. Host can prepare a hearty breakfast or dinner if needed and there is a small shop to buy some groceries.

The property is closer to Varatec (4 km) than to Agapia, but distances to most famous monasteries are below 20 km. The yard and the terraces are plenty of flowers, and in the yard there are several tables for dining including a pavilion. The senior hosts (husband and wife) are busy with their farm without contacts with guests unless incidental; their son seems to be in charge with clients although he needs to call his mom for details. The food (dinner and breakfast) were tasty, satisfying and at decent prices. We stayed only one night and needed to rent a suite as no double room was available; the rooms and bathroom were clean.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and peaceful location—perfect for relaxing or unwinding between visits to the monasteries. The guesthouse has spacious, well-kept green areas with plenty of spots to relax, plus sports facilities like tennis and football court, which is a great bonus for active guests and families with kids. The pond and small animal farm add extra charm and were a real treat for children. From arrival, the hosts welcomed us warmly with sincere smiles and genuine hospitality. The rooms are spotless, bright, and comfortable, equipped with everything you need, including bathrobes and slippers—showing real care for guests’ comfort. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of fresh, homemade options. We especially appreciated the host’s flexibility in adapting to our schedule
