The staff were excellent and went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. My room had a gorgeous private terrace. The entire building is a work of art, perfect for the island. I recommend staying here if you want a unique escape. It was a little quiet, more people should stay here! The island generally is lovely, the people friendly, and there’s a surf camp just a few steps away.

My stay at Francesca Guesthouse in Dakar was nothing short of exceptional. Antonio and his lovely family not only made me feel like part of their own but went above and beyond in every way. For a first-time visitor arriving unprepared, Antonio's help with transportation, local sites, and even personal errands was invaluable. And as if the hospitality wasn't enough, the meals were a highlight! Antonio himself has over five years of culinary training, and it shows in the delicious meals served daily. The comprehensive breakfast, included with my stay, was a perfect start to each day, and dinner poolside with background music set the perfect vibe for relaxing evenings. Housekeeping ensured everything was immaculate, with daily cleanings, and the guesthouse is located in a great neighborhood ideal for both tourists and business visitors. Antonio turned my stay into a truly memorable experience—safe to say, I've made a great friend. I can’t wait to return to Francesca Guesthouse and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dakar!
