This location truly exceeded my expectations! Ake the owner reached out to me ahead of time to confirm my arrival method and time, picked us up at the dock, had the room ready ahead of time, and even offered us a bike to travel around! When we weren't comfortable enough to ride bikes, he drove us into town and helped arrange island tours, and ferry rides, and even helped us get a good price! The steamed chicken and rice felt like I was eating breakfast at my uncle's home, and it was just truly a lovely stay. I felt safe and comfortable, even walking to the dock which was about 15 minutes. Tucked away a bit so sometimes tuk-tuks didn't know the spot, but it's so straight forward from the dock that it wasn't an issue. Would definitely come back <3 Thank you so much, Ake for everything!

We spent 5 nights as a couple at Lanta Par Hut and couldn’t have wished for a better place to stay. The place is ideally located, far from the noise in a peaceful neighbourhood but still only 10 minutes away from the best beaches in Koh Lanta. The bungalows are very confortable and well equipped (air conditioning, towels, comfortable bed, little terrasse, fridge, wifi,…) the biggest plus of this place is definitely the kindness of Red and his wife, the owners. They are very welcoming and can help on many aspects: scooter rental, organising bus transport to your next destination, activities, laundry,… The restaurant is amazing with lots of delicious food options! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks a lot for everything Red! Max and Pauline

I had very nice staying in Lanta Smile Inn for 3 days. The hotel is 5 mins walk to the beach with fantastic sunset, and you can access to the whole island easily with a scooter. The room is modern and clean, which made my stay very comfortable. I especially like the plants in front of the window which provides a feeling of privacy. Yim, the hotel manger, takes care of the plant very well, and he takes care of the guests even better. He always looks after the need of the guests and has many tips to provide. In the end, I'd like to extend my stay but the hotel is fully booked. Yim himself drove me and my luggage to the other hotel that I booked.

I mean.. I am coming back next year for sure. Do you need a better recommendation? I loved this little place and the homely cozy atmosphere there. We stayed for almost a week and I was very sad to leave. They are the reason I love Lanta! The location might not be on the beach but plenty of good food restaurants around and a nice gym.

Perfect location for catching ferries/speedboats to other islands. The room was very clean and comfortable , shared bathrooms were also really clean. Free coffee and water also. Would definitely recommend for a couple of days.

    Super clean and comfortable! Quiet area just outside of the centre but a 5 minute walk in to the Old Town. Cheap moped rental available here and 2 minutes away. Definitely recommend staying here rather than the other side if you want something a bit different and it’s easy to get to the other side for beaches. Guesthouse offers pickup from the boat and most bus companies offer free/cheap pick up if you’re moving onwards by bus afterwards.
