Very clean & had all the amenities needed for my short stay, as for the surrounding area stunningly beautiful, which is why I went, I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, The Devonian is a guest house set in a historic building in Ilfracombe, 600 metres from Ilfracombe. Terence and Piper are the best of hosts and made us feel welcome the moment we walked though the front door. The room we stayed in was immaculate and much thought had gone into every detail, right down to the "sleep pack" left on our pillows at night. Piper prepared breakfast each morning which was delightful and plated beautifully. We could go on-deservedly a 5-star establishment.

Situated in Braunton, in a historic building, 24 km from Lundy Island, The Brookfield is a guest house with a garden and shared lounge. Lovely welcome from our host, Chris, who was lovely with our grandson, showing him the family guinea pigs. The family room we had was huge, with a spacious en suite. Everything was super clean, and breakfast was served to the conservatory table; a tray piled with cereals, fruit, yogurts, toast and warm croissants was plentiful, and the coffee was fresh and refills were happily provided. Chris also catered for a gluten free eater with gf crumpets and granola. The house is a one minute walk from all the shops and places to eat in Braunton-, which is a really nice village. Off road parking was useful, and the gorgeous beaches at Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay area both only a 10-15 minute drive away.

Milk supplied in mini fridge with a variety of teas and coffees. Sarah was very helpful when we arrived, although instructions were clear.

Small, very charming hotel. Wonderful room with a lot of space and many lovely details. Clean and comfortable. Great location - no parking at the hotel but easy to find parking nearby.. Very friendly staff. Good food.
