Lodging ranges from bunk beds in a shared dormitory room to private rooms and freestanding cottages. All are beautiful retreats entirely made of wood, and feature heating and a flat-screen TV at the least. The room was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 kids, with ample space for our 5 pieces of luggage. The large toilet was a nice touch. However, we found some bugs in the room, both dead and alive. Additionally, our room was close to the reception, so at night, we could hear people talking and coming in and out from the lodge main door, making it difficult to sleep. The soundproofing of the room door could be improved. On the positive side, the location is very convenient, being very close to the ski resort with a kind of ski-in ski-out, within walking distance.

The location is amazing (cut through directly across the road to the ski run) very close to dinner/bar options and convenience stores. The owner/host, Miwa, is absolutely lovely, very welcoming and helpful. I took advantage of ski rental delivery. Very nice to have the small onsen. Stunning view of Mt Yōtei, if you’re lucky.

The location was perfect for driving to all of the resorts we wanted to visit but also close enough to Kutchan and Niseko for a short drive to ski and eat etc. The accommodation was perfectly clean and really large. Plenty of space for 7 adults and great facilities like a kitchen downstairs. The hosts were amazing, could not of been more helpful. They were always on hand to help and answer any questions. We opted in for breakfast a couple of mornings and dinner and both were delicious and very good value for money. We wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of the other activities like snow showing etc.
