The owners were so kind, they were even willing to accommodate our lack of Japanese language skills. The breakfast on the porch in the morning was such a treat, highly recommended it. Also, the location was great, the room had an amazing view of the Tama Rive Gorge! The room was well equipped and roomy. I also liked that it was within walking distance of the river walk and other sites.

They now also have a laundry machine in the property, and they offered to handle my laundry if I was out the whole day. Even with shared bathroom/showers, I didn't have to wait to use those once. Generally, it always felt great to be back at this accommodation after a long day of touring Tokyo. I'd definitely want to stay here again next time.
