Very calm place surrounded by nature, very clean and delicious local food! They arranged the half day safari for us with a breakfast in a private place in the park which was great! The family is the most adorable, we really felt home! We even had the opportunity to learn how to cook sri lankan with them😍 The son is the one who imagined and created the cottage which makes it even a better place. They give all their heart to it! We were sad leaving this place! Thank you for everything & we hope to come back to see you all soon!

Located within 16 km of Udawalawe National Park in Udawalawe, Forest Edge Safari Villa features accommodation with seating area. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk and parking on-site. The host was super friendly and humble, the place was really spacious and clean and the view of nature and the monkeys was entertaining! Had such a good breakfast. Janith also helped me to go to the ATM and showed me the good places to have dinner. I also would recommend going to do the safari with the owner because he is very passionate about it! There enough restaurants walking distance, I also ended up walking to the water reservoir and it was a nice walk.

The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. What an adorable chalet in the middle of nowhere . Gives you enough privacy and makes you feel like a royalty .The owner was extremely helpful and polite . Even though we arrived later than the time decided , we were still greeted with a hot cup of tea and snacks . The place has all the fixtures of a western 5 star resort . The outdoor toilet was by itself a charming experience of the nature . I would highly recommend this place if you want to have a great stay, feel royal , want to experience first hand hospitality of Srilankans and excellent warm breakfast.

Jungle View River Camping has river views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Udawalawe, 15 km from Udawalawe National Park. This guest house offers a garden. The guest house features family rooms. Nice tent house, really friendly and welcoming hosts. We were greated by a welcome drink, the family cooked us a really nice 4 curry dinner. They also helped us organise a safari trip and gave us a king coconut on our way out. We really enjoyed our stay and the whole experience. Highly recommend.
