Very clean and spacious. The staff was very kind, and even gave us a delicious welcome drink. Good value for money and not too far from Yala for the safaris. Nice AC and hot water. Serene surroundings.

At the guest house, all units are equipped with bed linen and towels. Amazing property. Wish we had booked for longer! Great pool with lots of sun loungers and beanbags. Owner is also a chef. We had a wonderful breakfast and wish we had more time to experience his cooking for lunch or dinner. Were also very helpful arranging Yala safari for us ☺️

The owner lady was truly the nicest person we met in all of Sri Lanka – so friendly, welcoming, and caring. She went above and beyond to help us organize our safari and even arranged our departure taxi, which made everything so easy. I can't say enough great things about this homestay! They arranged our transfer from Ella and arranged a morning and afternoon safari for us. We were greeted with a delicious cold coconut water, in the coconut. We chose the breakfast and dinner option which makes so much sense because the town is a bit of a walk and after a safari all day (4:30 am to 6:30 pm) it is great to have dinner at the homestay. Both dinners we had were excellent, I think the best food we've had in Sri Lanka! They also pack a breakfast to go on your safari day because of leaving so early. When you wake up they have coffee and bananas for you before leaving. Our room was a great size, ac and hot water worked well. The owners are very kind, friendly and even drove us to the bus stop, stayed with us and made sure we got on the right bus. I highly recommend Tissa Rainbow for your stay while exploring Yala National Park, you won't regret it!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Mailagama Cinnamon Residence is a recently renovated guest house set in Kataragama, 21 km from Situlpawwa. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. It's one of the great location unique landscape and friendly staff I appreciate this beautiful Villa for multiple times one of My Favourite in Kataragama

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the guest house. My hosts couldn’t have made me feel any more welcome. They are kind and generous. As a single female traveller I felt very secure in their compound. I strongly advice you book your safari with your host. He’s a confident driver with a keen eye for leopards. Don’t think saving money will serve you well, take a private tour. The guest house is situated close to the park and near to the road the dissects the park. Take an evening safari on the road if you can. The accommodation is very clean. I found it hard to leave these lovely people.

After we arrived he took us for a little bird tour, which was really nice. He treated us with a fresh coconut, fruits and little snacks. The hospitality was outstanding. The air conditioner was cold, the water hot, the pool refreshing, the view spectacular, breakfast delicious and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Dilushika and Gayan were exceptional hosts, making us feel right at home. The breakfast was delightful, and we also enjoyed dinner there—Dilushika's egg kottu is the best! The garden is stunning! I could have easily stayed longer. The beds were comfortable, complete with mosquito nets for a peaceful night's sleep. I loved sleeping by the soothing sounds of birds. The view is absolutely breathtaking! They also organize safari at the best price with excellent guides. Additionally, they arranged a taxi to Ella for us at a rate even better than Uber.

There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The guest house features family rooms. Super unique property with wetlands surrounding it and owner’s special “pets”. Hosts were lovely and arranged amazing safari for me. They are very kind and helpful!! Highly recommend.
