Opening to a balcony with garden views, all units are fitted with a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge. Each unit includes a patio featuring an outdoor dining area. At the guest house, all units include bed linen and towels. Lovely property on the lake, the host was a kind bloke. Hot tub was worth it definitely recommend

Just 100 metres from a small beach at Klarälven river, this B&B is 10 minutes’ walk from central Karlstad. It offers free Wi-Fi, free parking and rooms with a flat-screen TV and fridge. Karlstad Train Station is 1 km away. Not the first time I stayed here and once again I had a nice couple of days at this B&B. The staff is welcoming and will help you with everything you need. Everything is well maintained and cleanliness is on top. My room was spacious, good lightning with big windows, comfortable bed and very quiet. A good breakfast in the morning (serve yourself) gets you started and of course you will find something for fika as well. Nearby you can find a little beach and walking patch along the river, public transport, supermarkets and it is just a couple of minutes of walking to the city center. Already looking forward to my next stay at Solakoop B&B.

I didn’t realise it was basically a student-type room on one floor of a private school building. That said, it was comfortable, clean, bright and quiet, with a good range of breakfast options, and in a great location, just off road 44 and a stroll to the centre. With parking! And helpful people.

Very nice host. Quiet surroundings, on a horse farm, right next to lake Vänern (~500 m by foot). Fully equipped with a bathroom, a kitchen and a double bed. Free Wi-fi works well. TV didn't work. As it's very close to nature there might be some critters around, which is almost impossible to prevent. I had to throw out a bug and a spider. Apart from that the whole place was super clean. Highly recommended!

Excellent location, lovely easy walk to the city centre and 2min walk to a supermarket. Comfortable, clean, quiet and spacious apartment. Great kitchen. Excellent communication, host answered all our questions promptly. We stayed for a week and had everything we needed.

If you like quiet and interesting places this is the one to stay in! Nice host, very helpful. We booked both rooms, so kitchen, bathroom with sauna and jacuzzi was for us only (it might be a bit uncomfortable if you share it with strangers). Lots of things for younger kids to explore, playground. Wonderful location in the woods, 10min walk to the lake beach. Blueberries everywhere. Really recommend!
