Only downsides are noise from mosque and from cicadas (mosque loudspeaker is actually relatively low volume for a typical mosque, and I usually slept through 530am prayer call without earplugs…the cicada noise is insane at certain times of day and is a spectacle to behold…being earplugs for them if you plan to spent time on patio).

The guest house features an infinity pool with a pool bar, as well as a hot tub and a shared kitchen. excellent staff - so friendly and helpful. the place is close to the beach but far enough to have some quiet at night. as the only high rise around, it’s easy to find your way home!

All units will provide guests with a fridge. The location is amazing, just in the middle of the forest but also not far (by moto) from the hustle and battle. You can get there in 10 min. The location is really peaceful and one can really disconnect and relax. The breakfast and dinner options are super and at very good prices (we had breakfast and dinner every day because we really liked it). Scooters can be rented at the spot.

The property offers garden views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lanta Smile Inn. Mr Yim is a great host, very friendly, helpful and glad to help organise tours etc in Koh Lanta. The room was modern, spotlessly cleaned and had great air con. The location is very central, 5 minute walk to long beach and there are plenty of eateries and a minimart within 2 mins walking distance. The location is also serviced by a lot of the free transfers included with tours/boats. The accomodation also offers pickup/drop off from the pier for 100THB pp. Would highly recommend this spot and would happily stay again.

I had an amazing time staying in Lanta Happy house. The location is so quiet and peaceful, better to have a bike to reach it but the owner also rents them. Rooms are perfectly clean, cozy, great bed, A/C, warm shower, fridge….everything you need for a comfortable stay. Your own patio with a hammock and seating area is the best 😍 The owner is super friendly, always available to anything you need. Absolutely would stay there next time when I’m in Koh Lanta!
