The owners are SO lovely! Incredible hospitality. The beautiful traditional Albanian breakfast was so delicious. Everything is clean and comfortable. We caught the bus from Gjirokaster and it stopped right outside the guesthouse. It’s not in the main town but not an issue as there are a couple of nice restaurants across the road. The owner drove us to & from the thermal baths for a decent price.

The place in general is very lovely. Quiet and peaceful, clean and confortable. The two owner are so nice and thoughtful. Always there for you if you need something. The mother is amazing, always thinking of a way to make you feel at home with some fruits, something to drink,... Very very good place to stay, most recommended. The hospitality of the owners, the dinner and breakfast prepared using local ingredients. The view over the valley is gorgeous from the room and terrace. The road is challenging but can definitely be done in a normal 2WD car. It's an unpaved road with rocky areas (3-4 areas). Just use 1st gear, drive slowly and continuously, do not make stops, and keep the wheels in the higher areas.

A fantastic gem of a place in Permet! Kastriot and Marinela welcomed us in like family and were absolutely lovely hosts. The house overlooks the beautiful Vjosë river and breakfasts overlooking it made for a great start to the day. We loved the meals that were cooked, from Kastriot's freshly caught fish to Marinela's amazing Feta breakfast pastries. If you want a local Albanian experience no better place to go!
