BelgiumCouldn't have wished for a better stay. There are 4 rooms in total for up to 8 people with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom/shower/sauna. The host lives in the adjacent building so if you have an issue during your stay don't be spooked if in less than a minute the host shows up to resolve it, really awesome service!
The beds are are really comfortable, after an active day followed by a relaxing sauna it feels great to lay down and wake up well rested.
The location is also quite nice, not exactly in the town centre, but during winter it's a short walk from all the stores, across the frozen lake. And there's a bus stop at about 50 m where the "ski bus" and long distance busses stop (if you come by train to Kolari it's very doable by bus, I regret not doing so!). Also a lot of cross-country skiing, hiking and cycling trails nearby but be careful and check the map thoroughly so you don't get lost in the dark. Be sure to bring a proper flashlight just in case ;-)
And I got to see the northern lights on my first night there. Would love to come back next year!
