We checked in and it was perfect and the owner welcomed us accordingly, however, the other guests came in at 1:30 in the morning and didnt stop making noise all through the night. We checked out 2 days early and found another place to stay as the soundproofing was horrendous.

The house is beautiful, family house with a lot of history. Decoration is a balance of classical / contemporary. The location couldn’t be more ideal, overlooking the Loire river (joined by the Maine at that exact location). It looks like an impressionist painting. The hosts are super helpful and were mice with us and kids. Breakfast is delicious with locally sourced marmelades and cheeses. Nearby (5’ walk) there is a little square with 3 delicious local restaurants for lunch or dinner. Last but not least, it is located near the Savennieres vineyards for a little tasting tour during the day. What else?

A rare occasion when a Hotel exceeds the expectations! We stayed two nights. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated in the style that goes with the Chateau's general appearance, but with the modern convenience of good climate control, modern bathroom and great bed. A warm welcome from the host and easy no nonsense check in. Aside from the room with great views of the vineyard there is a communal kitchen/space with a fridge and coffee facilities that is shared with other hotel residents. Breakfast can be had inside or outside in a quiet location behind the house. Included in the room rate you also get a wine tasting with wines from their own production which was well presented and Very tasty. We will absolutely be back!
