A lovely traditional house, high in the mountains, with beautiful hikes nearby. The real gems are the kind couple who run it, for whom I’d give 15/10. Impossible to do them justice in a few lines, but if you’ve been there, you know! Outstanding food, outstanding welcome, outstanding service, outstanding attention to detail, over and above anything a 5* hotel could ever offer because it comes from the heart. WHAT an experience! I had an amazing stay! The property is secluded and very quiet, and it was impeccably clean with a great pool. Jim, the host, was incredibly helpful—even when I had a flat tyre. This part of Greece is beautiful, with plenty of towns to explore within easy driving distance.

Afrodite the owner was very polite & friendly. The location is in a typical Greek village in Kambos Avias,Messinia in the Peloponnese. The room was basic, but with an ensuite shower room, air-conditioning & with a cute garden. Where there were olive trees. There was even a view of the mountain Taygetos. And at the same time, it's only 20 minute drive by car to beautiful beaches, such as Kitries,Satova, Akroyali & many more... It was such a wonderful experience. Having the feeling of living in a traditional Greek village. The olive trees,the fig trees, old stone village houses, local schools & churches. Everything is nearby, at walking distance. There are lovely coffees shops,a cake shop,little shops , tavernas,a butcher, supermarket, bakery, chemist & village doctor etc. The people were very welcoming & made us feel at home..As one old lady, gave us figs & eggs. We went only to Kardamili. But next time we plan to stay longer & explore Stoupa beach, Ayios Nikolaos, Vathia, Oitilo . Thank you Afrodite , we will be back again..
