CanadaThis place went above and beyond of what I expected. They pick you up at no extra cost and they welcome you with such warmth! In addition the place is spotless. They also provide shuttle service to Antigua, Atitlan etc for about 225 Q. We had all our meals here, plus beers, laundry service, bought water shoes ( that you can also rent for 30 Q) etc, and it all came to about 500 Q. This place is a gem!

The room was clean, and they cleaned the room on request.
The Wi-Fi worked well most of the times.
The dinning room had a beautiful view to the mountains.
The hotel is located a few meters from the mini-bus stop.

The host family are fantastic. Super friendly and welcoming. Davide the son runs fantastic tours of the caves and Semuc Champey. The bedrooms and shared bathrooms were nice and clean. No kitchen but there is an onsite restaurant serving reasonably priced tasty food (good portions). Great value for money.

Family owned home stay. David was the greatest tour guide for Semuc Champey and the on site restaurant was very convenient. They also pick you up with their own tuktuk from the bus stop in Lanquin. Plus check in early was possible and the WiFi was very good.

Really nice homestay, Mary and her family were so friendly and helpful and offered a number of tours to Semuc Champey for very reasonable prices. The room itself was very comfortable and cool at nighttime. There was lots of space outside to relax. The restaurant offered really nice food for very reasonable prices from breakfast-dinner. Really good value for money. Thank you!

If you are looking for an authentic Guatemalan homestay, this is the perfect place for you! Mary and her family are very welcoming and the food they prepared was great and well priced. The tour to Semuc Champey with her son David was the best!!! When you arrive at the bus station they will pick you up by tuctuc. Very handy!

Great hosts, so friendly and welcoming, everything was clean and food was delicious. We can definitely recommend the tour to semuc champey with David. Best day so far in Guatemala!!!
