The House is really nice and the location in the middle of the forest is just amazing! If you need to relax it’s definitely the perfect location. Restaurants are a little bit far away, but the owner drove me for free to the next best! The owner and his family are really helpfull and also kindly. I lost my charger there and the owner even drove the next day to my next hotel and gave it to me just for a little bit of money! :)

Our stay at Villa Wastra was truly wonderful. The place is very quiet, which was perfect for us since we work night shifts and need to rest during the day. Maria and all the staff are so kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was always delicious. One small suggestion about breakfast — it might be nice if it were set up more like a buffet, so guests could easily help themselves and choose their table, instead of feeling a little awkward reaching for food while others are seated. But honestly, this was not a big issue at all. What we really loved was the extra touch of hospitality: every afternoon, the staff brought us tea with local snacks, which made us feel like royalty. Those little details made our stay extra special. When we come back to Bali, Villa Wastra will always be on our list — it truly feels like home. 💛

Had such a comfortable stay here. Little bit out of the centre but the owners sorted us bikes to rent really easily. Very hospitable owners, they even gave us a bowl of local fruit to try.

The room was impeccable—extremely clean, bright, and tastefully decorated with light wooden furniture that enhanced the natural light. It had sheer curtains layered over heavier ones, providing privacy without needing to close the shutters. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and there was no disturbing noise—the AC was very quiet, and the residence is small, so I didn’t hear the neighbors, or they were very discreet. Every morning, Kot and Wine Juan offered me coffee with small Balinese desserts and chatted with me, offering local tips. They even gave me rides to my yoga class and helped with my luggage when I changed locations. I felt genuinely welcomed—like part of the family. This place set such a high standard that it’s hard not to compare every other stay to it. What touched me the most was the cleanliness and attention to detail—from the garden to the room, everything was impeccable. I felt incredibly well taken care of and welcomed.

Great place to stay away from the buzz of the center of ubud but close enough to go with the bike. Tulus was very helpful and you can rent a bike on the spot which was very convenient. I got a mild flu and it was a good place to stay and recover.

The loveliest homestay! The area is great, and since it’s located on a side street, it’s very quiet both during the day and at night. The owner family is also super nice and offers a great laundry service. I’d happily come back — the room and bathroom are also beautifully designed.

Would you like to stay in a place surrounded by Rice Fields , Have a loving Hospitality , Cheaper Price , Spacious Room , Passion for Art , then blindly book this place .The fact that Sri & her family are really nice when it comes to serving the guest . I did see many other properties but my heart said book over here , so glad that I stayed here for 4 days & I am determined to come back for a longer stay next time . The house keeping staff who is such a sweet lady who came to pick my luggage & show me the way while checking In . She is just too good . My Laundry was also done nicely & I am happy with the same .The Place popularly called Rice fileds is filled with many art shops where you will find many Paintings in Ubud . Good to have a walk with your loved ones in the natural surroundings . The only issue with this Hotel is they don't serve you food apart from their breakfast so you will have to have lunch & dinner outside which you will find nearby .Ubud is such a lovely place to move around & spend your time . Do come to have a relaxing Getaway over here. Thank you NIRWA & TEAM FOR THE WARM & LOVING HOSPITALITY.
