I had a wonderful stay with a warm, welcoming family! I was well taken care of throughout my visit. The room was cozy and clean, and the food was absolutely amazing. They provided plenty of information and recommendations on where to go and what to do—from a morning boat tour to kayak and bicycle rentals, plus laundry facilities, everything you need was available. Keep in mind that the homestay is a bit remote, further from the main river, but I found this to be an advantage. It allowed me to rent a kayak and explore the small canals easily. Additionally, the homestay is within walking distance from the train station—if you choose to walk, follow the road near the temple.

The host (Anusree) was very warm and welcoming, she arranged everything for us and was very helpful with our queries. Her mother made the best homecooked meals as well! The property is new, it's very clean and pleasant to stay at. You have your privacy and there is also place for parking.
