The location is perfect, you are standing right before the beach and you can surely have good photos just in front of the house! Crazy good of the host and her 3 happy dogs, thanks for the private tour to her own cottage! The beds are the most comfort bed of my whole trip (even better than those stars hotel).

Perfect guesthouse! The owner was so kind. He let us use his kitchen for cook a small meal (pasta). Everything was super clean. Breakfast war very tasty, everything what you want to have at breakfast was there (ham, chesse, eggs, jams, butter, coffe, tea, milk, …). We get a clean towels, too. The bathroom was very clean and we had sink at the room too.

Last minute same day booking. Host was very gracious and communicative. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was varied and plentiful, it was delicious.

This guest house is 20 km from Vík and 1.5 km off the Route 1 Ring Road. Wi-Fi and parking are free. All rooms have a view of Pétursey Mountain and the Atlantic Ocean.

Wonderful guesthouse! Excellent and well-equipped common areas and kitchen. Lovely view from the dining room. Our room was very comfortable, and had excellent blackout blinds to keep it nice and dark.
