We had such a lovely time at Corner Shop. We stayed in the tatami mat room which was perfect for us, the rooms are so spacious, beautifully laid out and we had a view out onto the mountain. The toilet and shower room were also very clean and spacious. There is also a small kitchen with sink, kettle, fridge and crockery that we could use. The guest house is above a cafe/shop/bar with a really nice atmosphere and the staff were so friendly, kind and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, this was the best place we have stayed in Japan and we will definitely be recommending it to friends! Miyota is a great location in a stunning landscape. It is easily accessible by train from Tokyo and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance of Corner Shop.

It had such a cosy, warm feel to the place and the host was so welcoming. We had previously explored the area on bikes and when we arrived, we were able to purchase beers to drink on the veranda and watch the sun setting! Its a perfect location surrpunded by nature, yet easily accessible. We left early morning to catch a train and they arranged a taxi which was perfect! Great little place to stay and would love to go back one day!
