It was my first trip to Korea. I analyzed too many hostels and chose Gangnamstay hostel. And I am satisfied with this decision. The owners been kind and careful about me. Sue was so nice and she really cares about her guests. One week before my trip she connected me on watsup and provide useful information about how to get to hostel, which bus should I take, the price for the bus ticket. She even sent me the video describing route to hostel. She always provide very useful information for guests in common chat. Sue is empathic and welcoming person. She introduced me to other guests - girls. She really trying to create comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hostel is clean, also Sue and her mom were coming every day to clean the area and cook breakfast and sometimes dinners for us. Good that guests can use the laundry machines for free. There are conditioners everywhere, everything so well organized. Sleeping area was also comfy. They have some beauty stuff for girls. I am grateful for everything and I felt comfortable and met some new friends during my stay. It means a lot to me cause I have been a solo traveler and needed some support.

It was a great space! Cheap money, it was close to the subway station (about 5 minutes walk), and the convenience store was also very close to the accommodation. If you are looking for a cost-effective accommodation, I would definitely recommend it.

This was a lovely stay and the room was warm and cozy even in winter. All necessities were provided (except oral care products), making it a beautiful yet functional space. The room smelled nice, had good water pressure, and I liked the digital locks that are very easy to use and convenient. The host was extremely helpful and responsive, making sure that my stay was comfortable. The place is a short walking distance from Sillim station, and has many amenities nearby.
