We were guests at Villa Ema for a week and it was difficult to leave. The villa is beautiful and gives you the feeling of being on holiday but at the same time a bit of home. We don't need to talk about the cleanliness - everything 10/10 and the service too. Every morning there is an insanely great authentic breakfast prepared by the grandmother. The family that manages this accommodation is just great, lovely and they turn every wish into reality. I even got a birthday present at the end. It was a wonderful holiday that I won't forget, we are very grateful for this hospitality and will definitely be back!

Amazing stay. The lovely woman will do everything for you to give you the best stay! She made amazing food, she did our laundry, very good and clean room, she got us some drinks on arrival and she is very nice to talk with. Look no further and book this lovely homestay! The stay at Villa Arushina was exceptional. The lady took care of every request, the beautiful villa is impeccably decorated, a clean and air-conditioned room with toilet and shower. The internet was also excellent. Happily, I arrived at a great time - on New Year's Eve! I got to experience the holiday in a pure authentic way and learn about Buddhist customs and tradition. Eat local food through breakfast and holiday dinner. For me it was an amazing experience. I got to know a lovely family. I have no doubt that on my next visit to Sri Lanka I will return there. Beautiful house in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood. Very high ceilings give the rooms a palatial feeling. Hosts are very supportive in giving advice and helping with taxi bookings.
