Spacious comfortable room with separate entrance. Large bathroom with shower. Beautiful scenery if a little remote ( not a criticism, just something to be aware of) Walking opportunities straight from door. The weather wasn’t kind to us but we did get one morning when we were able to do the tea experience. The best part for me was the food - they prepared some wonderful gluten free Sri Lankan meals for me which was the best food I had in our 3 week trip. Dave is very engaging and we enjoyed our chats with him.

Sarath and his wife Deepthi are the most delightful hosts. We had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home in the jungle. We had a steam massage (highly recommended) and Sarath took us for walks around his spice plantation. It’s a beautiful place to unwind and chill, and you are looked after so well. Deepthi’s cooking is amazing. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful old colonial house in an amazing setting, but what was so special was the warmth of the staff. The food was some of the best I had in Sri Lanka. It's a pity that I live on the other side of the world....otherwise we would be frequent visitors at this hotel.

First of all we liked the amazing view, doesnt matter if you are on the balcony, look out of the windows of your room or from the 360 Grad view roof top terrace, you will have a amazing view everywhere. You can see the mountains, the city, diffrent temples and the beautiful nature. Second thing we liked very much, was the food, for fair prices. So we had a high quality dinner and large portions on the roof top, cocked by the host. We liked it so much, so my girlfriend tooked a cocking lesson the next day by the host. She enjoyed it a lot. Specially the host is very friendly, makes you feeling like you are at home and helped us with everything we needed. He is happy if his guest are happy. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The hosting familly was accommodating us really good, they gave us a ride and lots of valuable information about whole Šri lanka and little bit of its history. We enoyed that hosts were speaking perfectly in English. Breakfast was as goog as 5 star’s restaurant. The facilities, comfortability of the bed, shower, the view was perfect, better that we expected. Thank you again it was the place that you want to stay as long as possible.
