Warmly greeted with a cold drink by the genial host Iqbal. Invited to treat the place like home including using the kitchen to make tea and coffee. Large, well furnished (amazingly with pegs and shelves!) and very comfortable room with an enormous bathroom and hot water. Fabulous variety of breakfasts throughout our 5 night stay and wide variety of restaurants nearby for lunches and dinner. Good local rates for scooter hire.

Lovely small hotel with air conditioned rooms with fridges. Bashir and team made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, in addition to helping with Tuktuks and various questions. Breakfast was excellent and went until 11. We were located at the end of the strip which was perfect for us as we were happy to walk in and wanted to be out of the party scene. Arugam was a fun location with plenty of buzz for our teenagers along with getting in some good surfing.
