A very warm welcome from Anushka and his family. The unique clay house with its unusual shower was very comfortable to stay in. Beautiful plants all around and a pet rabbit added to the charm. The dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious and traditional. Anushka was always ready to help and give advice. Thank you very much for the wonderful moments!

I had an absoulutely beautiful experience staying at Mystay. Hosts were incredibly attentive to anything I needed, they were always available to provide great info about nearby spots and prices. While Mawanella in not a main tourist hotspot there are some gorgeous spots to explore if you like nature such as river with waterfalls, several hiking spots and trekking paths through the rainforest, it is an awesome location for nature lovers. Also, it's proximity to Kandy and Elefant sanctuary puts you in a great location to explore surrounding attractions. Hosts were always able to arrange local transport to wherever I needed to go and for amazing (local) price, can't thank them enough. Breakfast was wonderful, home made and super tasty. They also provided fruit and tea for my relaxing time, also plenty of bottled water all the time. Place is very spaceous and comfortable with garden around the house, there is also a lovely erected area, like a treehouse, for you to enjoy, that is surrounded with greenery, a great place to just relax and see some birds etc. All in all, a wonderful family that I'm happy to have met and I'm so thankful for all their help with information and transport. Hope I'll be able to stay there again sometines in the future.

You’ll be rewarded by the most spectacular vista. Kobbekaduwa Bungalow is such a peaceful get away from the busyness of central Kandy and a great place to relax after a day seeing the sights. The food is absolutely delicious with options to have truly traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts, lunches and dinners! The best breakfast we’ve had while in Sri Lanka! The staff are really helpful and kind. 100% recommend.

It was the best homestay / hostel on our trip. Everything was available. Kitchen, terasse, dining area, big rooms, very good and affordable food. Hosts were amazingly friendly and helpful. Would always come back and stay much longer next time!

This guesthouse is an absolute gem. My room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely private outdoor seating area. Breakfasts were a feast! Delicious Sri Lankan dishes kept appearing on the table, and any other time of the day the family kept offering me some tea. One of the highlights of my stay was the cooking class with Sudesh’s mom. I heard great things about in the reviews and I'm so glad I decided to do it as well. It was a great experience and everything we cooked was absolutely delicious! The location, while a little off the beaten track, offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. While getting an Uber or PickMe can sometimes be a bit tricky due to its more remote location, the family arranged transportation for me whenever needed. What truly sets this guesthouse apart is the incredible family who runs it. They were all simply amazing, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I honestly can't recommend this guesthouse enough. It's the perfect place to experience true Sri Lankan hospitality, enjoy delicious food, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Kandy region.

The warm welcome from Kosala and Vipul has been the highlight of our stay. They really made us feel at home. As we arrived, they were two strangers, but as we left, they were to very good friends to us. They were very helpful with everything, answered all our questions, and Kosala's cooking was always delicious. They were always keen on making sure we were satisfied with everything. The room and bathroom were both very clean and confortable. The bed was also very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the big terrace with table and chair which allowed us to regularly relax, eat and/or work on our computers. The place is situated about 15min drive from the main center but this allows for a very calm and quiet place. Kosala and Vipul's english is very good which allowed for really great exchanges.

Our stay at The Comfort was truly special thanks to the wonderful hosts, Kushana and Purnima. Kushana went out of his way to make us feel at home — picking us up from the railway station, dropping us off at the bus station when we left, and even taking us to visit several tourist spots around Kandy. He stayed in touch with us even after we left, which shows just how much he cares about his guests. Purnima is an incredible cook — she prepared delicious breakfasts and one of the best dinners we had during our entire trip to Sri Lanka.
