The garden and general design of the guest house is spectacularly beautiful and tranquil, the garden and pool are stunning. The family who runs the home are lovely. The breakfast is served warm and fresh, very family oriented. Nice area to work from laptop during the day.

It was a lovely 4 days trip in this place. The room is clean and have all the facilities you need. The location is great, few minutes walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. The hosts are super nice and very helpful. I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Mauritius.

We stayed here for 5 days, so it was perfect start to know the island, it is close for walking in NP Black Rivers Gordes, Le Morne and relax in Flic-en-Flac Beach, long beach with white sand a plenty of possibility for refereshment, by the evening close the restaurant, or you can cook in own kitchen. The owner were very helpfull and kind, all you can need is in the accomodation, you can used washmachine too.

Our staying was great. the place is lovely, lots of space in the room, with everything what you need, private pool :) Breakfast was good, and the host Raquel and Jerry are really nice people. We love this place and highly recommend it.

We booked Residence Padma for the first few days and were so amazed by their service, cleanliness and location that we ended staying here during all holidays. There is plenty of space in the room, the room is equipped with a fridge, sink, some cups ect. beside having fully equipped shared kitchen. The pool is great to relax on a rainy day. The thing we liked the most is cleanliness of the rooms with daily change of towels, good mattresses and super fast wifi. At first the location didn't feel the best, but as our friends stayed at the beachfront, listening loud music from the cars all night long, we started to appreciate the quietness of the neighbourhood. It was definitely worth the money!

There are plenty of options to dine nearby and there is also a store (Jumbo Express), a clinic, etc. Vanessa is an exceptional host: kind, attentive, knowledgeable… She works hard to make this place a paradise! A wonderful place and warm and charming people at a level I did not know. They took care of everything for me at any hour even for special requests beyond the usual. Everything is very clean and tidy and well-equipped, a large and comfortable bed, there are sitting areas and a pleasant and large balcony facing the beach. The location is excellent, right on the beach and accessible to public transportation. A supermarket is a few minutes away by bus. Soorekha and Navin are lovely people, they treated me just like a family member, professionals and know how to recommend trails according to the nature of my trip, guide and help me get there, organize guided tours for me when I needed them and helped me personally with things I needed more than usual and continued to be there for me even after that I left and when I needed help at every hour.

Great host. Cody has been helpful and proactive regarding the organisation of our excursions/stay. The best excursion for us has been dolphin swimming and visit the crystal rock / ile aux benitier island with the speed boat of le Le Gite du Bonheur. Big and clean room. We had our private terrace with a swimming pool view. Good and sufficient continental breakfast.

We stayed 3 nights at Shanti Ghar. We felt at home from the moment we were greeted at the gate by Zak. Comfortable, friendly and lots of tips from Zak and Tom that made us feel like locals. The honesty system for the bar a great idea. The continental breakfast was all you needed to get going. They offer dinner a couple of nights a week, home cooked and delicious. There’s a supermarket down the road which is handy. An ideal home base to explore the SW of beautiful Mauritius.

Cody is a great host that will provide you will optimal assistance. The team as a whole is very friendly, helpful and attentive. Le Gite is located in a peaceful area with lots of greeneries in its surroundings. The guest house has great facilities and services. We had a great experience at Le Gite du Bonheur and we recommend.
