There seems to be not many good options in Mersing. We found Koh’s place which seems to be a rather new option and we haven’t been disappointed! Koh is a fantastic host that makes sure you get everything we need. Communication was smooth over WhatsApp. The room is furnished with a lot of amenities (soap, shampoo, water, snacks, tooth brushes, razors etc…) Very good value for money

Location is great, it really is perfect for an overnight stay to catch the ferry to Tioman the following day. I didn’t expect it but their internet was fast enough for me to work from my room. Room had table and chair, great for work. I would go back here again when I make another trip to Tioman. Just don’t expect luxury but it is good for the price.

Host Mr Kam is extremely friendly and helpful. He arranged for a car to fetch us from town. The room is super cosy and clean. Very comfy bed and pillow. I was able to do laundry and brought back clean clothes. I would recommend this place for 100 percent and will definitely return.

The owners are so friendly, even though we arrived late around 8.30pm. When we checked out, they even came out for small talk & bid goodbye. The location is easy to find, quite near to the main road. The room & toilet are squeaky clean. Although as described in the details, the toilet (squat) as well as shower is outside. Not surprised as they've written in the details. Just outside our room is the pantry where we got the coffee premix and the hot water. The room is very comfy.

I stayed for sleep only, but it was great! Comfy pillows and mattress made my 6-hours sleep like a full-time sleeping :) also, owner was so kind and drop me to the ferry station

The house is old but very clean and the beds are comfy..The owner is very responsive. The price is fair for what you get…Mersing jetty is about 10 minutes by car.
