If you come to Bhaktapur and want experience the local life of Nepales, Navin's place must be your best choice. He is so hospitality and the whole story is totally out of my expectation. We do the morning prayer, walking around in alleys and squares, riding the scooter to Namobudda and watching the sunsets. Navin arranged a perfect two days trip for me. No hurry but full of variety. Just wanna say, These two days are my best time in Nepal.

The whole stay was brilliant - beautiful location on the Dattareya square, Arun, Zee and the team were great hosts, the breakfast was amazing - had the fab Bhaktapur special yoghurt, customised it for a vegetarian, the Mayur restaurant had lovely meals, they arranged my sight seeing, transfers, guide -Vikram who was super and I had a brilliant time. Highly recommended. Beautiful restored Newari home.

What you see is what you get and that is great! Simple straightforward rooms in a nice and quite street close to all the beautifull squares. The manager is a wonderfully kind man who speaks perfect English, we stayed two nights more because we liked it so much. Good hot shower and everything is very clean.

I can’t recommend Shekhar’s Shared Home enough. Shekhar, the owner, goes above and beyond to ensure you have a full experience of Bhaktapur. He personally guides his guests, free of charge, through the winding alleys of the historic city, revealing the hidden gems of the area and introducing them to local delicacies. His guesthouse also has a welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like home. In the evenings, the living room transforms into a gathering spot where travelers from all over connect and share stories. Everything! The hotel is small but cosy and details are brought to a level much higher than the price payed. Breakfast is simple and delicious. And the family running the place is lovely and helpful. From the rooftop you have an amazing sunset. And it is located next to the most important square in Bakthapur
