The balcony with the view - this is the reason why we booked this exact room. It couldn't be more perfect : just you and the lake! The sun rise is so beautiful, and are night you can see all of the village lights. You feel in your little bubble! (See pictures - they are all taken from the inside or balcony.) The room was cosy - simple but enough. It was clean and the bed (double) was comfy. Very easy check in / check out. Perfect location - you see the village (2min walk). Are next to swimming spots, and the coffee downstairs is the best!

Our hosts, originally from England, were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and we chatted about many topics, even though our English wasn't very good. They provided us with an excellent breakfast, shared their experiences traveling around Europe, and offered very helpful tips for exploring Gosau. Of course, our top recommendation was the incredibly clean room we had. The entire building seemed to have been renovated in 2021. The building was new, with a beautiful balcony and a clean, bright bathroom. We felt it was at least a 4-star hotel. I've already recommended it to my friends.

All rooms come with a patio with river views. Very nice owners who were very supportive and helpful. We enjoyed a lot the hospitality and comfort of our accommodation. Also breakfast and on-demand made egg-omelettes were great. We will come again in the future.

Offering mountain views, Seeblick Krippenstein is an accommodation situated in Obertraun, 4.2 km from Museum Hallstatt and 25 km from Kaiservilla. The rooms look much better in real life than on the photos . The host was extremely kind and helpful . She advised us to rent bicycles in Obertraun to cycle around the lake and then around the river . That was the highlight of our stay . We took the train to Obertraun station and walks with our luggage to the hotel. What a lovely area . We are very happy that we didn’t stay in Hallstat as it gets very busy there . Her place was the perfect location for us to go to the start of the cable cars taking you up to five fingers . It was walking distance from the hotel
