One of the best stays you can have. There is a coral reef right in front of the property. Watching the sunsets and sunrises from the balcony/terrace area is a treat incomparable. The food was delicious. Internet was surprisingly very reliable. The host is great.

The property features sea and city views, and is 39 km from San Felipe de Barajas Castle. The guest house has family rooms. The place is in a good location, not too far from the entrance of Playa Blanca, which makes it way less crowded, less noisy. The room is fine for the money you pay. Due to the bleach's location, most places don't have power during the day and also are short on water. So you gotta keep in mind when going there. The host was pretty nice and helpful.
Tintipan Island
Providing sea views, Casa Acuarimantima in Tintipan Island provides accommodation, a private beach area and a bar. Guests staying at this guest house have access to a balcony. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Do not expect luxury in the classical sense. Expect the luxury of a fantastic view from your room and the common facilities, a staff that will do everything for you and exceptional food. If you want to relax on the isles, you might just do it in the hotel where you have sunbeds, hammocks and armchairs with direct view onto the sea. Kayaks and snorkeling equipments can be used for free. Since the hotel is located in the sea, the facilities are rather simple but everything is clean and well maintained. You can also book tours directly in the hotel. Loved it, would anytime go back!

Isla Grande
Featuring a beachfront location, free WiFi and a terrace, El Hamaquero Hostal EcoNativo offers pet-friendly accommodation in Isla Grande, 36 km from Cartagena de Indias. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. We had a very stressful day on Isla Grande, getting lost on the island and missing our ferry home. The staff at El Hamaquero Hostal were amazing and so helpful! They managed to fix us a private dorm and arranged for a boat to collect us the next day from the hostal without any stress. It ended up being the highlight of our Cartagena trip, so relaxing and beautiful. I cannot recommend this Hostal enough, 10/10!!

Facing the seafront in Tintipan Island, Medusa Hostel Isla Tintipan has a garden and a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a private beach area, as well as a solarium. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Quarried location. Enjoyed island life. Here you total relax. Also good food. However they do not pretend to be an eco hostel, it is one of the most eco friendly hostels, no single used plastic at all. Maximum use of renewable sources.

Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a shuttle service, full-day security and free WiFi. Great location and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Pizzas were lovely but dinner was not so much. And spent only one night and think it’s a great value for money.
Isla Grande
Fragata Island House provides rooms in Isla Grande. Set on the beachfront, this property features a private beach area, an open-air bath and a bar. The accommodation offers full-day security, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. Fragata Island House is a total knockout in the Rosario Islands! The food is a flavor explosion, the clear-as-day waters are a dream, and the manager, Bertha, is an absolute superstar. The location is like a sweet spot between easy access and pure serenity. The rooms? Stylish, comfy, and just what you need for that perfect beach escape. In a nutshell, Fragata Island House is THE spot for a chill yet fabulous getaway. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit.

Sol and Camille are great hosts, there are only two private rooms upstairs with their own terrace and chill out area. The bathroom is shared and basic, but fresh water at all times. All their food is home cooked, vegetarian and very delicious. You can also refill your bottle there to reduce plastic waste. They also offer tours to different places. Be informed, there is no wifi but if you have a sim card the connections works. Electricity is only available from around 7pm -7am. Very relaxed place directly at the beach.
There an immense amount of caring from nature and the locals from everyone who works here and encourage to do the same for those who stay. It’s very simple yet comfortable place to stay. You can walk to the town easily through the jungle as well as other local beaches. The activities they offer are prob the best in the area and very good price.
Wow. The campsite is run by the local legend Gregorio an amazing guy. He made us feel very at home and was so kind to us. We learnt loads about life on the island for the locals the good and the bad. He had loads of cool tours for us too. The best was fishing for barracuda, so cool. We managed to catch three and an egg fish which he helped us cook together that night. He gave us coconut and taught us how to cook plantain and coconut rice. A lovely place and a lovely guy, thank you Gregorio!
The food is good and has to be ordered in advance a couple of hours before each meal. The resort offers several complementary activities organised by locals (scuba diving, spa, plankton excursion, walking tour etc). The cocktails were also very good. The hotel organises a transfer by boat from and to Cartagena which was also nice and smooth. Each room has a hammock.
Lovely hosts in a simple but clean place. Perfect for some time away from the buzz of Cartagena. Great for backpackers and travelers in search of an earthy experience. The food was delicious (all included) and the tours of the flora and fauna were wonderful! Secret haven I warmly recommend.
Geraldo and Beatrice. Such lovely hosts. So helpful with any requests. Beatrice is a great cook - best lunch we had on the island. Brought us cafecito every morning. Geraldo put us on to his brother Guillermo for a fantastic snorkel and island tour.
Maria was a very good host, very kind! She even waited with me at the dock for the boat to pick me up. The food for dinner was delicious. Walking distance from a few beaches (5 minutes)
Lovely hosts, Jose and Maria warmly welcomed us to their lovely ecolodge. The rooms are big and equipped with a very powerful and extremely silent fan, so you can sleep comfortably. The lodge is not as fancy or luxurious as the beach side resorts but that is not a negative thing. It is local owned and run by the owners so the personal care is wonderful and at a price that is hard to beat.
