It's a bit of a walk up the Hydra stairs, but it's great cardio and part of the island’s experience. Matina was very nice and helpful — she made us feel truly welcomed. A peaceful and scenic retreat we’d happily return to.

The host was amazing and took great care of us. The room was spacious and comfortable. The weather was chilly so we spent a lot of time at Isola's Cafe on the main level of the building- also great. I highly recommend Upper Hydra and look forward to going back.

It was very cozy, clean, with a lot of light and view. Also the room had everything you needed and the stuff was super nice :).

Centrally located in Hydra Town and just 100 metres from the port, the traditionally built Guesthouse Alexandra features stone-built walls, iron beds and beamed ceilings. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Everything. It’s charming, spotlessly clean, well located and our hosts were just delightful! Helpful in giving us tips on where to go, accessible and made sure we had everything we needed. We loved our stay.
