And there's a short 1-2 minute walkway through the mangroves, leading to the river where you can go kayaking and even waterbiking (though there's only one bike). What a beautiful experience to sleep to the sounds of nature and wake up to the birds chirping. I also saw some strange possum/lemur-like animal climbing through the trees while I was having breakfast!

We had a spacious room and a beautiful bathroom, which was open and gave a really tropical experience. There was a shared kitchen outside that you can use if you’re staying in Manglare, also a possibility to put your food/drinks in the fridge. The location is very calm and like a 5 min walk to the beach. El paredon is quite busy and there are some parties, but in Manglare it’s very calm. We liked it. Extra thing is that it is close to the mangroves, where you can rent some kayaks for example. At the end of our stay, we forgot some stuff that was still drying outside. We took contact with Manglare and they immediately were very helpful: they searched for a way to sent us our belongings by express delivery to our next hotel in Flores. Thanks for this service. Highly recommend it!
