The hotel was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The rooftop restaurant and the terrace give a spectacular view of the city. The room was very clean with comfortable bed and clean sheets. The biggest bonus was the hotel manager Ali and his staff! They are all very friendly and polite and Ali took care of all my needs and more. Highly recommended!

The terrace was amazing to have to relax on or enjoy a freshly cooked meal. The hosts are very friendly and helped me with local recommendations. The kitchen and maintenance staff is also super kind and welcoming and accommodating. By far the best stay in India, I am so happy and grateful!

The hotel was slightly hard to find being inside a small suburb but it’s soothing to be away from the noise of the main streets. The host is really friendly & helpful, and her husband and kids are nice too. Overall, really positive atmosphere. I recommend getting up early and catching the sunrise from the roof! If I pass by the town again, I’ll definitely put up here.

The staff made our stay even better, we were supposed to leave on the following night with night buss but they let us to leave our baggages to our room and to refresh ourselves before leaving at 21:00 at the evening! Obviously the room was not occupied by new customers, but still, it really showed that they care of their customers and help the best they can! :) The location was great too, short rickshaw drive away from everywhere.

We were traveling as a group of 7 - with our son, and both set of aged parents. Dera staff noted our request to give ground floor rooms to elderly parents. The property with big rooms, garden, terrace, common areas to hang out with family was perfect. Jaipur was cold but the thick walls of the house kept the rooms warm. Our Hostess Rekha was warm hospitable and suggested places to see in the city. She even helped us book leopard safari via her contacts last minute. The property has tie up with car agency which had good drivers and clean cars. The pets - the dog, rabbits, turtles, budgies - enthralled the whole family but the surprise visit of peahens in terrace was wonderful. It is truly a home stay where every corner of the house speaks of history of their family. The staff - the family who stays to manage the housekeeping and cooking are so hospitable, eager to help with all requests. Roopti, her daughter Preeti & her husband took extra effort to make us comfortable. The property serves amazing Indian breakfast and even lunch/ dinner on request and they customized spice levels on our request. We had a lovely stay at Dera and would recommend it highly.
