This guesthouse is located along one of the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Routes and Yunomine Hot Spring, said to be one of the oldest hot springs baths in Japan, is a 5-minute walk from the property. This was the best value for money stay I had this trip. Highly recommend opting for dinner to be included with your stay. The steamed vegetables and meat with rice and soup was a sumptuous, healthy yet delicious meal especially at the end of a day's big hike. The dorm beds were comfortable, and it was a really nice luxury to get a private onsen experience (especially the outdoor one). Though there was no convenience store around, the hostel has a very good range of snacks, instant noodles, buns at good prices so you don't have to worry about not having food around.

Featuring a terrace, the 2-star guest house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The accommodation provides a lift, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. The appartement in which I stayed is fully equipped (kitchen/ shower and toilet). Additionally it is quite big, you also get a small living room and a place to work which is simply fantastic. The staff is super nice, I wanted to extend my stay and without any problems they helped me do it

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful in giving travel suggestions. The atmosphere in the place is lovely, clean, cozy and comfortable. Exceptionally good breakfast with super fresh fruit and Jam!

Had a great stay, walkable distance to train stations. Great amenities, worth the money

Situated in Tanabe in the Wakayama region, with Tanabe Ogigahama Beach and Tokei Shrine nearby, ICHIE Second Location features accommodation with free private parking. The property is around 1.9 km from Kozan-ji Temple, 6.3 km from Tanabe City Museum of Art and 7.9 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall. Heisogen Park is 13 km from the guest house and Saki-no-Yu Onsen Spa is 13 km away. All the basic facilities were provided more than sufficiently. Everything from the room to bathroom to kitchen to laundry room was clean and functional. Above that, Mayumi-san's personal touches ensured that our stay in Tanabe will stand out in our memory.

The house itself is beautiful Japanese classic house, however all facilities are modern and clean!!! Down town and Hayatama shrine are located in really walkable distance from the guest house.

It is located 46 km from Shiraha Shrine and provides luggage storage space. The guest house has family rooms. Perfect place to end your pilgrimage like me, or to start it! Near a station for the bigger cities, near the Ryozenji, good chambers and everything you need for a good rest!

NONAGASE GUEST HOUSE, a property with a garden, is situated in Chikatsuyu, 300 metres from Kumanokodo Nakahechi Museum of Art, 29 km from Kamitonda Concert Hall, as well as 31 km from Hosshinmon Oji Shrine. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Tokei Shrine is 35 km from the guest house and Shirahama Art Museum is 41 km away. The food was the best that I had on my trip, they had Japanese cuisine mixed with Italian techniques, the drinks were also great. The staff was really helpful and friendly. The vibes of the room and the whole house were unique. Plus, if you are doing the Kumano Kodo, Nonagase Guest House is right on the path and so you don't have to take a detour and the nearest shop is like a 10 minute walk.

It is located less than 1 km from Kuroda Han Historical Gate and provides a lift. Guests can access the homestay via private entrance. Great location, lots of privacy, accessible and safe.
