It's central and in the old city, just near the morning and the night market and the Mekong. All sites to visit are at a walking distance. Lisa is such a kind and helpful person. She did everything to make my stay as easy as possible. I had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay there again whenever I come back to Luang Prabang again. I highly recommend this hotel!

The guest house provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Had such a pleasant stay at Ban Vivanh. It was very comfortable and the property is beautiful. Vivanh is a lovely host and very accommodating. In the past, there was a footbridge to walk from near the property to the city center. Although the bridge is currently undergoing repairs, it is still super easy to get to the center either by boat (costs only 10,000 kip), tuk tuk, or a leisurely walk across the bridge (maybe 25 minutes tops). Actually, the seclusion of the property away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy city center was probably my favorite part. Highly recommend!

Loved the family style breakfast served anytime between 7:30 - 10:30; its great for meeting new people, and spending time getting to know the hosts. I also had the BEST shower to date in Southeast Asia, and the room is comfortable and quiet making sleep easy. You’re slightly outside of the main strip of Luang Prabang, but the bikes on-site are nicer than most rentals and make it easy and convenient to get around. Being slightly outside of the main drag also ensures you’ll explore other parts of the city.

The location was also near most of places so you can easy walk to visit. Would highly recommend this hotel!
