This is hospitality akin to a five star resort. We booked last minute due to our original accommodations having been flooded due to heavy rains. Mr. Ajith waited up for us late at night, welcomed us into his home so we can have a late dinner, and brought us lemon juice straight from his lemon tree. He prepared a delicious multi-course breakfast, helped us with our bags, and communicated with our tuk tuk driver so they knew where we were going. We really felt so special being a guest at the Tide’s Tale and wished we could have stayed longer. The room is simple, but exceptionally clean. Plus the bed was extremely comfortable. We had to catch a train at early 7 and she, even in the dazzling early hours, managed a TukTuk for us standing in the rain. Even a good friend wouldn’t do that for you at 6 in the morning.
