The homestay provides inner courtyard views, a sun terrace, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Our host worked hard to connect with us, and to make our stay a good one. He had to balance caring for each of the people staying there. And, of course, he has his own family he must not ignore. The breakfasts he makes for us are varied, healthy, simple, but tasty. The location was perfect. We lived in a real neighborhood, which meant the dogs barked, there were sometimes odd neighbor noises, construction here and there, but everything eventually quieted down at night. I didn't fit into the house very well. I am tall and getting older, and I think it's an environment that works for the young and slightly more compact person. But, I still loved it just the same. I'd certainly stay there again if in Patan.

The host family was incredible helpful and kind, their food was amazing. We are in Kathmandu now wishing that we stayed longer

Super friendly staff, clean rooms and great breakfast. The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing! We’ve stayed three times and it’s been great every time. Would recommend to anybody looking for a great place in the historic part of Bhaktapur.

I stayed in Nirvana Kuti following the recommendation of Linda, a wonderful woman that I met in Delhi airport. She was indeed accurate: Nirvana Kuti is such a beautiful accomodation, comfortable, clean and pretty new. It was easy to feel home. Besides the comfort of the room, with a big, warm bed, with views to the temple just in front of the house, it is located just a few steps from Durbar square, in a very calm street. I slept extremely well and woke up to the beautiful views. Life is magical and I met Bobby, the owner of Nirvana Kuti, even before my stay. He kindly offered me a ride to Nirvana Kuti, and he made it very easy for me to feel home. Even more, he also allowed me to stay a bit longer because my bus was leaving in the evening. I appreciate Bobby's kindness and the beautiful taste in which the house is built. It is both comfortable and stylish, and the location couldn't be better. Thank you Bobby for making of my last days in Kathmandu (for this time) a beautiful experience and see you next time ♡

The property has quiet street views and is 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. Look no further...you've found the best place to stay in Baktapur!! Navin is the greatest host that I've met in Nepal. Even though the building might seems a bit tatty at first sight, the room is super clean and comfy. With clean bedsheets and clean bathroom as well. You will meet a bunch of smiley people in that building and cute kids going to school. I also had the best breakfast in Nepal, simple but delicious. I am a woman travelling on my own and I felt perfectly safe there. The view from the rooftop is just incredible and the location in Baktapur can't be better! You're just one minute from Durbar square. Navin is also a trekking guide if you want to hike in the valleys around Baktapur's area. He can also give you a tour in this beautiful town. That's the kind of homestay I HIGHLY recommend!! Hope to be back there very soon.

Offering a garden and garden view, Jungle Crown Organic Homestay is located in Nagarkot, 10 km from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 18 km from Boudhanath Stupa. It is set 20 km from Pashupatinath and offers bicycle parking. Free private parking is available and the homestay also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. This place far exceeded our expectations!Upon arrival we were offered tea and welcomed with genuine warmth. The views from the terrace look out onto a forest and below that Katmandhu sprawls out into the distance. Sunsets here are gorgeous! It was peaceful, close to nature with a waterfall and many walks right outside the homestay. The family that run it are amazing. Nothing is ever a problem and they go over and above to help. The food was delicious and prepared with care. Keshab( the owner) is very observant and attentive to your needs. He tailored all of our meals to our liking, without being asked. We booked into the tree house and it was simple but comfortable and spacious. We spent the mornings doing yoga on our private deck looking into the forest and my partner was able to study at the desk in our room with all of the windows open and a gorgeous fresh breeze blowing in. It was a very welcome respite from the noisy, busy and pollutes Katmandhu. We will certainly be back! We booked for one night and just kept extending!
